Reading Room
Inspired by the affirmation of the famous architect Marion Mahony Griffin where he declares, “A tiny house, like a tiny temple, can be a perfect work of art,” Benn and Penna Architects designed this reading room pavillion on a rural property isouth of Sydney, Australia. A weekend retreat from the city, the reading room has a curved bookcase that mirrors the structure’s contour. For chilly nights there is a wood burning fireplace and for warmer climate there is a small covered patio with table and chairs.
