After becoming a master watchmaker in the year 1754, Ferdinand Berthoud created a legacy that eventually led to this beautiful timepiece. An achieved author who was the most versed expert horologist, Ferdinand helped advance his industry tremendously. Because of this, Swiss watchmaker Chopard in 2015 branded a line of watches after the legendary horologist. The Chronomètre Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1R.6-1 is the latest addition to this collection. The limited edition collection will only have 20 individual pieces made so this will surely become a classic collector’s item.
