Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University Central Building

In the month of May during the year of 2006, British education institution, The University of Liverpool joined Xi’an Jiaotong University opening a college in The China–Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park. The school is named the Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University and here we have its Central Administration building designed by Andy Wen of Aedas. The building is a ‘stratified cube’ with sporadically placed holes situated on a grassy plinth that was inspired by the famous Taihu stone that was discovered around Suzhou city.
