The Future of 18th Century Ruins

Building upon the foundation of the past, 18th-century ruins has been updated to a futuristic dwelling worthy of The Guardians of the Galaxy. The site is in Dumfries, Scotland and you can easily see the remnants of prior inhabitants. Random exposed-brick showcase the natural erosion of stone walls, grided wooden structures with minimalist aesthetics and large panoramic windows make this a truly unique living space. This forward-thinking architectural adaption was designed by Lily Jenks Studio.
